Our sheepskin beanbag are crafted from carefully selected premium sheepskin form New Zealand. Sheepskin is a natural byproduct of the meat industry. The sheep are raised for the meat production - in this case in New Zealand - and in order to avoid waste the sheepskin are processed. All our sheepskin product have premium quality. The difference between premium and "regular" quality is that premium sheepskins have thicker wool, a natural shine and are more durable than other sheepskins. This quality difference can be felt right away and especially over time. Another attribute of our premium sheepskins is the way the sheep have been raised. All our sheepskins come from free range sheep that graze freely. High standards in the care for the animals are very important to us, and we will never compromise when it comes to animal welfare.
New Zealand sheepskins are tanned and coloured (the white variant is not coloured) and then used to craft these beautiful beanbags. The long wool is straightened out in order to achieve this incredible softness. Be sure to brush the beanbag every once in a while to prevent the wool from matting. The beanbag is available in 2 practical sizes and a whole 9 different colours. The dark grey variant you can see here is one of the most popular colours. It is easy to maintain and works well in any surrounding. Any spills can be washed out directly with a wet cloth and dried in stains can be brushed out with a sheepskin brush. Spoil yourself with one of our magically soft sheepskin beanbags!
